Individually students and teachers are called into a dark room and are placed in front of a camera, where they are asked personal questions to which they have to answer on the spot. The film is divided into 5 chapters: ‘Perception’, ‘Love’, ‘Hate’, ‘Tribulation’ and ‘Alive’. In each chapter the individuals are asked series of questions under the. stope of the chapter’s theme. The answers of the individuals disclose their weaknesses, fears and hops, as well as reveal the changing perspective of a teenager in comparison to an adult
Perspicacia
The short film “Perspicacia” addresses the issue of knowing how to choose what is best for us in life. We are the ones who decide our destiny. The struggle between the heart and reason; social pressures conflict with the genuine pursuit of happiness and the construction of individuality. If we could predict the future, perhaps everything would be simpler, but in this life, we learn everything through trial and error.
El cortometraje Perspicacia aborda el problema de saber elegir lo que más nos conviene en la vida. Nosotros somos quienes decidimos nuestro destino. La lucha entre el corazón y la razón; las presiones sociales entran en conflicto con la propia y legítima búsqueda de la felicidad y la construcción de la individualidad. Si pudiésemos predecir el futuro, quizás todo sería más sencillo, pero en esta vida, todo lo aprendemos por ensayo y error.
